Flameless heaters are an excellent substitute for the open-air kitchen and/or open fire and should be used where it is not possible to start a fire, e.g. due to fire bans or where it is not possible to use an open-air kitchen, e.g. in the cases when at the same time as heating the food you also need to be in motion. Or simply because it is a simple and pleasant way to let the food heat itself in the package.

How does the Adventure Menu Flameless Heater work?

The heater is a plastic bag filled with magnesium, iron powder and table salt. When a meal bag is placed in the bag and water is added, an exothermic reaction occurs that rapidly boils the water to heat the food. About 5 cl of water is needed and the reaction is immediate. after about 5-10 minutes, the dish is heated. Be aware that the water will be very hot and should be handled with care.
