Adventure Menu Zipper Bag

is used together with the Adventure Menu Flameless Heater for heating soft preserves. Flameless heaters are an excellent substitute for the open-air kitchen and / or open fire and should be used where it is not possible to start a fire, e.g. due to fire bans or where it is not possible to use an open-air kitchen, e.g. in cases where you need to be in motion while heating the food. Or simply because it is an easy and comfortable way to let the food warm itself in the package.

How does the Adventure Menu Flameless Heater work?

The heater is a plastic bag filled with magnesium, iron powder and table salt. When a meal bag is placed in the bag and water is added, an exothermic reaction occurs that rapidly boils the water to heat the food. About 1dl of water is needed and the reaction is immediate. after about 10-15 minutes the dish is heated. Keep in mind that the water gets very hot and should be handled with care. The zipper-bag is an important part of the Flameless heating system. It acts as a "stove" where chemical reaction takes place. Zipper-bag can be REUSED!
