Chair One Highback (re)
is a further development of both Chair One (re) and previous Highback models - where the focus is on comfort over time, not just low weight. The main difference from the regular Chair One (re) is the high back, which provides support up over the shoulders and neck. It makes a tangible difference for longer sessions at camp, especially after hiking or activity.

More about Chair One Highback (re)
Like the other (re)models, the chair uses the Helinox (re)Tension Design, where an extra tension line distributes weight more evenly across the frame. The result is a more stable seating feel and less "hanging" in the fabric.
The frame is built in DAC aluminum and reinforced compared to previous generations, allowing a maximum load of up to 145 kg - without the weight slipping. The seat is made of recycled, bluesign®-certified polyester and has breathable panels. The combination provides both durability and better comfort in warmer climates.
Despite its focus on comfort, the chair is still relatively compact and easy to transport. It packs down into a slim bag and assembles in seconds via shock-corded frame - classic Helinox DNA
Positioning in the range:
- Heavier than the Zero range → but clearly more comfort
- Heavier than Chair One (re) → but better back support
- Closer to Sunset Chair → but significantly more packable
This is the model for those who prioritize comfort at camp but still want to be able to carry the chair with you.
