Chair One (re)

is an elaborate further development of Helinox's most iconic chair. The big news is the so-called (re)Tension Design - an extra tension cord around the seat that distributes the weight more evenly over the frame. It provides a distinctly more stable and comfortable seating experience compared to previous generations. The chair is also built higher than the original, making it easier to sit and stand up - an underrated factor in real-world use. The combination of higher seat height and improved ergonomics makes it work better for longer sittings, not just short breaks.

The DAC aluminum frame provides high strength-to-weight ratio, and the redesigned hubs contribute to increased stability. The seat is made from recycled, bluesign®-certified 300D polyester - both durable and more sustainable from an environmental perspective. Despite the upgrades, the chair is still compact and easy to carry. It packs down into a small bag and assembles in seconds via shock-corded tubes - just as you would expect from Helinox.

- Heavier than the Zero range → but considerably more comfortable - Lower than the High-Back → but more compact and all-round - Wider target audience → both hiking, camping and everyday use This is the model for those who want the balance between weight and comfort, rather than optimizing extremely in either direction.
