The tarp is made from Robens HydroTex SilPoly RS UL - a siliconized ripstop material that does not absorb water in the same way as traditional nylon. As a result, the tarp retains its tension even in the rain, dries quickly and remains lightweight throughout the ride. The generous size provides plenty of room for two people and gear, while the clever catenary-cut design makes it easy to get a tight and stable setup. Multiple attachment points and storm lines provide great flexibility in how you set up the tarp - from open sun protection to more sheltered configurations against wind and rain. The tarp is a central part of the Robens Vestis system and can be combined with, for example, Vestis mesh tents to create a complete, ultra-lightweight shelter. At the same time, it works great as a stand-alone solution for hiking, bikepacking or minimalist overnight stays.
