PowerFilm Solar 14W Rollable Solar Panel (R-14)
PowerFilm Solar panels are ideal for outdoor activities because they are exceptionally portable, lightweight, durable and efficient. Their flexibility offers a variety of possibilities in terms of how they can be set up, throw it on a tent, hang it from a tree, backpack or just roll it out on the ground. Most monocrystalline panels are too heavy to throw over shelter setups like tents, or too cumbersome or inefficient in variable light conditions to be effectively mounted on a backpack when mobile. PowerFilm's quality is second to none!
Areas of use:
12V battery charging
Trolling motor, smartphone, fish finder, GPS, car, RV, lawnmower, ATV
Camp lighting
HAM Radio and similar communication equipment
Advantages:
-Easy to use - Roll out the panel and start loading in seconds.
-Portable - the solar panel unrolls easily and rolls up into a compact package.
- Robust - marine grade connectors and the most flexible and durable solar power in the world - withstands hail and all weather elements.
-Low light operation - provides some power even in hazy or shaded environments.
-Lightweight - No frames, special stands or mounting brackets needed.
-Waterproof - No worries about using in wet environments.
- Glass-free - Nothing to break.

What's included:
PowerFilm Solar 14W Rollable Solar Panel (R-14)
12V car charger adapter, female (RA-2)
4.5m extension cord with O-ring connections (RA-11)
Remark:
Always roll out the sunny side and do not roll tighter than 76 mm inner diameter. Rolling the panel too hard can reduce the efficiency of the solar panel. The inner roller must have a diameter of at least 76 mm.
Use a damp cloth and a mild soap solution to clean the solar panel. Wait a few minutes for the panel to dry before storing it. Always roll with the sunny side out. Use the attached velcro to hold it in place when rolled. Store in a cool, dry environment (temperature range -30 to 60°C).
All connections must be solar positive (red) to battery positive and solar negative (black or blue) to battery negative. Backing up can damage the solar panel. Contact your battery manufacturer if you have any questions about the specifications of your battery.
A charge controller is not required if the battery capacity is 100 times greater (or more) than the panel output. For example, a 100Ah battery would not need a charge controller if the panel output is 1A or less. If a charge controller is required, please size it to the panel output.
Operating voltage and current are typical values when tested under load at AM 1.5 light conditions. Effect performance may vary depending on temperature, light spectrum, angle to the sun and other effects (at least 95% rated as new).
User instructions:
Unroll the panel with the sunny side up and towards the sun.
Use grommets in each corner and a tie string to hold the panel in place and reduce loss or damage from high winds.
Connect the appropriate accessory and cable for the type of device you will be charging.
Electronics
Connect the 12V female car charger adapter (RA-2) (included) to the panel.
Use your own USB car charger adapter to connect your device to the RA-2, or use a 2.4A Dual USB 12V adapter (RA-14B) (not included) to charge USB electronics.
12V batteries
Connect the panel output to the input of the appropriate charge controller, if required (4.5A, 6A and 10A charge controllers available) (not included) (see Important Notes section for details).
Connect the desired cable to the output of the charge controller or panel. Use the 15-foot extension cord with O-ring connectors (RA-11) (included) or the 15-foot extension cord with alligator clips (RA-8) (not included) when connecting directly to the battery. Use 12V male car charger adapter (RA-1) (not included) when connecting through a vehicle's cigarette lighter or accessory socket.
If you are using an RA-8 or RA-11, connect the red connector to the + battery terminal and the blue or black connector to the - battery terminal. If using the RA-1, plug it into your vehicle's cigarette lighter or accessory socket. Note: in some vehicles, these sockets are not connected to the battery when the ignition is off, so the solar panel does not charge the battery. See your vehicle's owner's manual for more information.
