During power outages and other disruptions, the ability to receive information is a crucial part of home preparedness. More about the CHER505 Hand-Crank Radio
The built-in lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh and can be charged in three different ways. For everyday use, the radio charges quickly via USB-C, while the integrated solar panel and hand crank provide alternative ways to generate power when there’s no access to an electrical outlet. When fully charged, the battery provides up to 40 hours of radio playback at 50% volume.
The radio receives both FM and AM broadcasts, and the built-in flashlight provides lighting during power outages, for example. In an emergency, there’s also an SOS function that can be used to attract attention.
Via the USB-A port, the built-in battery can also be used as a backup power source for compatible electronic devices. With its light weight and compact size, the Champion Hand-Crank Radio is easy to store as a permanent part of your home emergency kit.
