How does a crank radio work?
The radio receives broadcasts from the FM and AM bands and has a retractable antenna for better reception. The radio is manually tuned and the frequency is shown in an analog display, the volume is controlled in the same way.
The flashlight is bright with three LED lights that provide a wide spread of light and is turned on and off via the button on the top of the radio.
Why should you have a crank radio?
Uses: Emergency radio for situations where there is a power outage or for use off the grid. Perfect in the emergency kit but works equally well on a camping trip, boat or summer cottage as a nice addition.

Please note that this product contains a rechargeable battery. General recommendations for rechargeable batteries are to charge them fully on delivery via the supplied USB cable. Maintenance charge regularly every two months to maintain the capacity of the battery. The solar panel requires favorable conditions to charge the battery and should be considered mainly as maintenance charging. Also note that the charging cable for any phone is not included. The crank dynamo is provided on the radio to partially charge the built-in battery when plug-in charging is not possible, not to charge other devices. Charging other devices via the built-in dynamo rarely works.
