Don't miss any important news! With a crank radio you never stand without news and always have access to a working flashlight.
The radio receives broadcasts from the FM and AM band and has a pull-out antenna for better reception. The radio is set manually and the frequency is displayed digitally in the large display on the side where the remaining battery capacity and volume are also clearly displayed. The radio is charged through the integrated crank dynamo, via the wall socket and maintained through the large built-in solar panel.
The radio's built-in battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh which means you can use the radio as an emergency charger to charge your mobile phone. It also means you never have to have charged batteries available. The radio also has a built in motion detector which lightes up the upper panel when someone passes. which can be good both from a safety point of view and for your own comfort in the event of a power failure.
The flashlight is bright and has a concentrated long-range skittle aswell as a very bright broader mode and is turned on and off via the button on the top of the radio. In md-097 there is also a built-in distress signal that is activated via the SOS button on the page. Good to have to signal an emergency.
