Hultafors Premium Åby Forest axe

Åby has a straighter edge and grinding and a well-taken recess for the fingers under the skull to increase precision. Long and narrow ergonomic shaft keeps the weight down while you get proper power when chopping. The axe is hand-forged and made of traditional Swedish axe steel. The steel is processed with many strokes, which increases the density of the steel and thus the durability of the axe. This axe is named after Åby, the community closest to Hults Bruks and where many of the workers at the mill lived in the middle of the 20th century.
