The blade of the Ranger Cub is induction hardened for a long-lasting sharpness. The untreated steel has a traditional Finnish finish, where the ground part is polished while the rest of the blade has a raw surface from the hardening. - Scandi grind for precise control and sharpness - Egg hardness HRC 62 – extremely durable and sharp - Back hardness HRC 59 – increased flexibility and durability - Can be used with fire steel Note: Untreated carbon steel requires regular maintenance – keep the blade dry and apply oil to prevent rust.
