The built-in lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh and can be charged in three different ways. For everyday use, the radio can be quickly charged via USB-C, while the integrated solar panel and hand crank provide alternative ways to generate power when access to a power outlet is unavailable. When fully charged, the battery provides up to 40 hours of radio operation at 50% volume.

The radio receives both FM and AM broadcasts, and the built-in flashlight provides illumination during situations such as power outages. An SOS function is also available for attracting attention in an emergency.

The USB-A output allows the built-in battery to be used as a backup power source for compatible electronic devices. With its low weight and compact dimensions, the Champion Crank Radio is easy to store as a permanent part of your emergency preparedness equipment.
