Hultafors Premium Hult Cleaver

The design of the axe together with the slightly convex grinding causes it to break apart the wood. It has a long and straight shaft of hickory to get maximum speed and control during log splitting. The axe is hand-forged and made of Swedish axe steel according to tradition since 1697. The steel is processed with many strokes, which increases the density of the steel and thus the durability of the axe. It has a recess in the head at the shaft so that the hand can be held straight over the edge in cutting work. The axe is named after Hult, the area where Hults Bruk was founded.
