Opinel No 09 Carbon Steel Folding Knife

Less of a pocket knife and more of a project knife, the No.09 folding knife's increased size makes it great for bushcraft, hunting, or big tasks. The No.09 carbon steel comes complete with the classic sharp Opinel carbon blade and varnished beech wood handle. This size features the Virobloc safety ring. The carbon steel in this knife is extremely hard, thereby guaranteeing excellent cutting quality, good wear resistance and easy regrinding. Carbon can corrode easily. We advise you to avoid damp locations and to wipe and grease the blade after use. Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
