How does the Water Jug Replacement Filter work?

The Captivator Adsorption Media is an electroadsorptive filter (Strong electric fields acting on the surface layer of a semiconductor gas sensor can change its adsorption characteristics for gases and thus its sensor behavior) with a very strong positive charge potential. The charge is neither electrostatic nor a result of chemical treatment.
