The basic rule for all water purification is to take water from a running source as much as possible, avoid taking water from still bodies of water with clearly cloudy content to the greatest extent. If possible, choose water a little further out from the shore and preferably not surface water. The purification takes place with 0.1 micron precision, which reduces protozoa by 99.9% and bacteria by 99.9999%. The transparent bottle makes it easy to see how much water is in it and also keep track of how much water you drink. The filter can handle about 1000 liters of water purification (more if you only purify clear water and less if you purify cloudy water). If the filter is clogged with too much cloudy water, you can easily clean it using the so-called EZ-Clean advantage, i.e. putting water in the bottle and shaking it vigorously. Alternatively, you can unscrew the filter and dip it in water and swish it quickly from side to side in the water. This will loosen the debris and you can continue purifying water again. Note that the filter should never be rinsed horizontally under a tap, as this can destroy the filter.
