Katadyn Drip Filter Ceradyn
is a freestanding water filtration station designed for continuous water purification without the need for electricity or manual pumping. Simply fill the container and let gravity draw the water through the filter elements. With a flow rate of approximately 4 liters per hour, the system is designed for larger groups and situations where access to safe drinking water is limited.
The system uses three silver-impregnated Ceradyn ceramic filter elements with a pore size of 0.2 microns. The ceramic deep filtration removes bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, and sediment. The filter can be used with both clear and turbid water.
More about the Katadyn Drip Filter Ceradyn
The filter elements have a total capacity of up to 150,000 liters, depending on water quality. Unlike disposable filters, the ceramic elements can be cleaned repeatedly, even in the field, ensuring a long service life and low operating costs. The included gauge is used to check when the filter elements are worn out and need to be replaced.
The Katadyn Drip Filter Ceradyn is designed for daily use and groups of more than 10 people. Katadyn lists hunting and fishing cabins, mountain cabins, and international aid organizations as typical areas of use.
