Katadyn Expedition
When large groups need access to clean drinking water, a water filter with both high capacity and high reliability is required. The Katadyn Expedition is designed for frequent use in demanding conditions and is suitable for groups of 10 people or more.
The proven ceramic depth filter, with a pore size of 0.2 microns, removes 99.99% of protozoa such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia, as well as 99.9999% of bacteria such as E. coli. The filter also removes sediment and microplastics and can be used with both clear and turbid water.
More about the Katadyn Expedition
The manual pump provides a flow rate of approximately 4 liters per minute, making the Expedition particularly suitable when larger volumes of water need to be treated. Depending on the quality of the raw water, the filter element has a capacity of up to 100,000 liters. The ceramic filter can also be cleaned multiple times, and a gauge is used to indicate when the filter element needs to be replaced.
The construction includes stainless steel, food-grade silicone, and ceramic. The Expedition is designed for professional and intensive use and is recommended by Katadyn for aid organizations, military units, and large groups, among others.
